Act now - Hands off our hands-on-learning!

Hands on learning benefits 20,000 Victorian students every year.

Or at least it did.

The State Government's decision to cut $48 million from the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) program means that more than 70 per cent of public secondary schools, special schools, TAFEs and other registered training organisations will be affected.

VCAL provides alternative hands on learning for students, including practical work-related experience, literacy and numeracy skills development, and offers a pathway into employment or further education and training.

Your support is critical in getting this crucial funding restored.

Email your local MP, Education Minister Martin Dixon and Premier Ted Baillieu now and show your support for our VCAL students and teachers.

Your email will show how important this program is to our students futures.
